Microsoft Teams Integration
Send real-time monitoring alerts to a Microsoft Teams channel as rich Adaptive Cards. Sentinel uses the modern Power Automate Workflows webhook, not the deprecated Office 365 connector.
Setting Up Microsoft Teams
- In Teams, open the channel where you want alerts
- Click the ••• menu next to the channel name → Workflows
- Choose the "Post to a channel when a webhook request is received" template
- Confirm the team and channel, then create the workflow
- Copy the generated webhook URL (it ends in
logic.azure.com) - Paste it into your Sentinel profile under Notifications → Microsoft Teams
- Save your settings
Adaptive Cards
Teams notifications arrive as Adaptive Cards with a color-coded status banner, the affected monitor, and a fact list of the incident details, the same content you'd see in Slack or Discord.
Alert Features
- Color-coded status (green / amber / red) per alert severity
- Monitor name and incident details as a fact set
- Down, recovery, SSL, DNS, domain and slow-response alerts
- Per-monitor channel and severity controls
Microsoft Teams alerts are available on the Starter plan and above.
