Microsoft Teams Integration

Send real-time monitoring alerts to a Microsoft Teams channel as rich Adaptive Cards. Sentinel uses the modern Power Automate Workflows webhook, not the deprecated Office 365 connector.

Setting Up Microsoft Teams

  1. In Teams, open the channel where you want alerts
  2. Click the ••• menu next to the channel name → Workflows
  3. Choose the "Post to a channel when a webhook request is received" template
  4. Confirm the team and channel, then create the workflow
  5. Copy the generated webhook URL (it ends in logic.azure.com)
  6. Paste it into your Sentinel profile under Notifications → Microsoft Teams
  7. Save your settings

Adaptive Cards

Teams notifications arrive as Adaptive Cards with a color-coded status banner, the affected monitor, and a fact list of the incident details, the same content you'd see in Slack or Discord.

Alert Features

  • Color-coded status (green / amber / red) per alert severity
  • Monitor name and incident details as a fact set
  • Down, recovery, SSL, DNS, domain and slow-response alerts
  • Per-monitor channel and severity controls

Microsoft Teams alerts are available on the Starter plan and above.
