SSL Certificate Monitoring
Our SSL certificate monitoring system actively tracks and validates your SSL certificates to prevent unexpected expirations and ensure secure connections for your users.
What We Monitor
- Certificate validity status
- Expiration date tracking
- Certificate issuer information
- Days remaining until expiry
How It Works
For each monitored site, we:
- Establish a secure connection to your domain
- Retrieve and analyze the SSL certificate
- Calculate the remaining days until expiration
- Verify the certificate's validity status
- Track the certificate issuer information
Configuration Tips
- Set the SSL expiry threshold based on your renewal process:
- 30 days: Recommended for manual renewals
- 14 days: Suitable for automated renewals
- 7 days: Minimum recommended threshold
- Enable notifications to receive alerts before certificates expire
- Monitor all domains and subdomains that require SSL
Notifications
You'll receive notifications in the following scenarios:
- When a certificate is approaching expiration (based on your threshold)
- When a certificate becomes invalid
- If there are issues with the certificate chain
- When a certificate is successfully renewed
Important Note
SSL certificate monitoring is included in all monitoring configurations by default. You can adjust the expiry threshold and notification preferences in your monitor's settings.
